Ferris State Radio Broadcasts & Audio Webcasts
The Ferris State University Athletics Department is pleased to have Mentor Partners, Inc., and the Big Rapids Radio Network as its local broadcast partner for the 2010-11 athletics season. Selected Ferris State University Athletics events can also be heard live on the internet through an agreement with FSU Athletics, Ferris Television and Mentor Partners, Inc.
WYBR-FM (Y102.3) will air Ferris' scheduled regular-season football games this fall. Longtime announcer Jason DaDay will handle the play-by-play duties for home contests with FSU Associate Athletic Communications Director Rob Bentley calling the action for the road games. Local journalist Sandy Gholston is the third member of the broadcast team and will provide color commentary.
WBRN (1460 AM & 107.7 FM) is slated to air the men's ice hockey contests this upcoming season which comprises the entire regular-season schedule and Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) playoffs. Dominic Hennig will serve as the announcer for Bulldog hockey broadcasts for the second consecutive year. Selected contests may be moved to Big Country WWBR-FM (100.9) when scheduling conflicts arise.
