Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University football team is ranked among the nation's top 25 teams in two different NCAA Division II computer polls released this week.

The Bulldogs are currently 19th overall in the CompughterRatings.com poll along with 25th in the Massey Ratings listing.  FSU's current strength of schedule, according to the Massey Ratings, is seventh in the country to date this week.

Ferris State will make its first-ever trip to Canton, Ohio, this Saturday (Sept. 28) to square off against the Walsh Cavaliers in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) action.  Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. (ET) at historic Fawcett Stadium, which is located across the street from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The Bulldogs will meet Walsh for the second time in series history. A  year ago (9/22/12), the Bulldogs pulled out a hard-fought 20-14 win at FSU's Top Taggart Field in the initial matchup.
Saturday's game will be carried live locally by the Bulldog Sports Network and Sunny 97.3 FM with Rob Bentley handling the play-by-play duties and Sandy Gholston offering color commentary. The contest will also be streamed with free live audio at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

In addition to radio and internet coverage, Bulldog fans can also follow Saturday's contest and all other FSU games this year with live scoring updates on several official social media platforms.  Visit www.twitter.com/FerrisFootball to follow the tweet-by-tweet coverage with periodic scoring updates or visit www.facebook.com/FerrisFootball.

Following this week's contest at Walsh, Ferris State returns home for back-to-back games at Top Taggart Field.  FSU hosts Saginaw Valley State in its first GLIAC North contest on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m. (ET) for homecoming.  The following week (Oct. 12), the Bulldogs entertain archrival Grand Valley State for the Anchor-Bone Classic under the lights at 7 p.m. (ET).
