Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University football team will host the Northern Michigan Wildcats this Saturday (Nov. 16) in the final regular-season Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) North Division contest at FSU's Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids.
Kickoff for the "Senior Day" contest is slated for 12 p.m. (ET) and fans are encouraged to "arrive early, cheer loud and wear red!". Free hot chocolate and thundersticks will be distributed to the first 500 Ferris State students at the game.
Seventeen Ferris State seniors will be making their final career appearance at Top Taggart Field versus NMU and will be recognized prior to the contest. The large group includes linebacker Jake Bentley, defensive tackle Donovan Carter, long snapper John Childers, safety Jonathan Flynn, offensive guard David Gifford, tight end Jace Heneveld, linebacker Cam Howard, kicker Austin Kantola, offensive tackle Carlin Landingham, tight end Josh Liske, offensive tackle Samuel Parker, linebacker John Purdy, tight end Nick Reyna, running back Korey Ringer, safety Marvin Robinson, cornerback James Stewart and safety Jamar Wimberly.
The Bulldogs are riding a three-game winning streak and are currently 7-3 overall along with second in the GLIAC North Division with a 7-2 league record. FSU is also 10th this week in the NCAA Super Region Four rankings with the top six teams at the end of the season earning NCAA Division II playoff berths.
Tickets for Saturday's game are on sale now and can be bought online at StarTickets.com, by calling (800) 585-3737, or in person thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office located inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex. The ticket office is open today thru Friday from 9 a.m. (ET) to 5 p.m. (ET) with extended hours on Wednesday until 7 p.m. (ET).

Football tickets in advance for Saturday's game are only $9 for adults or $8 for senior citizens (ages 65+) and FSU faculty/staff along with $6 for students. Prices go up to $12 for adults, senior citizens and faculty/staff on gameday along with $8 for students. Ferris students with ID will be admitted free by showing their student identification cards.
Parking in lots near Top Taggart Field is $5 per available space on a first-come, first-served basis. As a convenience to fans, credit cards will also be accepted at the ticket window along with the concession stand.
Stadium parking lots will open for tailgating on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. (ET). Tailgating will be permitted only in lots 35, 36 and 37 to the west of the stadium.
The FSU-NMU football game will be broadcast live locally by the Bulldog Sports Network and Sunny 97.3 FM with Rob Bentley handling the play-by-play duties and Sandy Gholston offering color commentary. A live high-definition video and audio webcast complete with internet statistics will be available through FSU's all-access video portal for a charge of $7.95 at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.
