Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's basketball squad, which captured the school's first NCAA Division II National Championship this past year, will have a special opportunity to take on one of college basketball's all-time winningest programs in a historic venue as the Bulldogs face Duke University on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, N.C.

Fans interested in attending the exhibition tilt on the Duke campus can join the Bulldogs by purchasing a "Game Experience Package". Two different game experience packages are available, but are limited and available only while supplies last for the 4 p.m. (EST) tipoff.

The game experience packages must be purchased by 5 p.m. on Sept. 4 and priority will be given to Rebounders Club and program donors, athletic sponsors, donors to FSU, season ticket holders, parents of players and alumni.

"We're thrilled with the invitation to not only play in such a historic facility, but also to face one of the elite in college basketball in Duke University," said FSU head coach Andy Bronkema, who was tabbed as a consensus National Coach of the Year choice. "We appreciate the invitation to open the year against a first-class program and thank Coach (Mike) Krzyzewski and the entire Duke administration and staff for this outstanding opportunity.

"This will be a great way to open the season on the heels of last year's championship run and we hope as many Bulldog fans as possible can join us for this awesome experience," he added.

Game Experience package #1 is $200 per ticket and will allow fans to enjoy the game from behind the Ferris State bench in section 19 of historic Cameron Indoor Stadium. It also includes an invitation to the Ferris State Alumni Association Pre-game reception, which will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Wallace Wade Stadium's Delta Suite with complimentary food and a cash bar.

Historic Cameron Indoor Stadium, which Sports Illustrated has ranked as one of its top five on a list of the world's top 20 sporting venues, serves as the home court for Duke men's and women's basketball along with volleyball. The facility opened in 1940 and seats 9,314 fans, including a large group of students and fans known as the "Cameron Crazies". The hardwood floor is dedicated as Coach K Court.

The Blue Devils have been a dominant force in NCAA Division I basketball for decades. Krzyzewski has compiled more than 1,000 wins at Duke and will enter his 39th season at the helm next year with an all-time D1 record of 1,100 victories. His 94 NCAA Tournament wins are a record along with his 12 Final Four appearances. He's also led the United States Olympics team to six gold medals in addition to five NCAA Championships at Duke.

This past season, Ferris State captured the school's first national championship and also matched the all-time NCAA Division II record for victories in a season with a 38-1 campaign. FSU, which topped Northern State 71-69 in the national championship game in Sioux Falls, S.D., capped a magical season which saw the Bulldogs match the all-time NCAA Division II record for most wins in a year while finishing with a 38-1 mark.

FSU also won its second consecutive Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Regular Season Championship, a fourth-straight GLIAC Tournament title and the Midwest Regional crown in 2017-18. The Bulldogs have presently made four consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament under Bronkema's direction.
