Member of FSU's 2018 NCAA Division II National Championship team that finished with a historic 38-1 overall record ... Played in all 20 games and had a key role off the bench on the national championship squad ... Avearged nearly five points per game for the Bulldogs ... Helped team also win the GLIAC Regular-Season & Tournament Championships along with the NCAA Midwest Regional crown ... Appeared in all 33 games as a key reserve during the 2016-17 season ... Averaged nearly three points and two rebounds per game off the bench ... Member of FSU team that won a third consecutive GLIAC Tournament Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the third year in a row while winning a school-record 28 games ... Prior To FSU: The 6-8 Walker played at Elk Rapids under head coach Luke Johnson. He averaged 17 points and 8.7 rebounds per game as a junior while shooting over 65% from the floor and better than 70% at the free throw stripe.
Walker was a Traverse City Record-Eagle All-Region honoree and all-state selection after originally transferring to Elk Rapids during his sophomore year. He also had a strong offseason playing AAU basketball with the Grand Rapids Storm.
Walker was also an All-Lake Michigan Conference recipient for the third consecutive year and named to the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (BCAM) All-State squad.
