Bulldog Hockey To Face University of Toronto
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's ice hockey team will kick off its 33rd season of intercollegiate competition as a NCAA Division I program this Sunday, Oct. 2, with an exhibition contest against the University of Toronto Varsity Blues in Big Rapids, Mich. A 3:05 p.m. (EDT) start is slated for the encounter at FSU's Ewigleben Ice Arena.
A "Skate with the Bulldogs" event will be held immediately following the conclusion of Ferris State's exhibition game. Hockey fans will have an opportunity to meet with the student-athletes and coaching staff of the 2011-12 Bulldog men's ice hockey team. There is no fee to attend "Skate with the Bulldogs" and it will cost only $2 to rent skates. A ticket is required, however, for admission to the game.

The FSU Athletics Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EDT) and on gamedays starting at 12 p.m. (ET). The office will offer extended hours on Wednesday's until 7 p.m. (ET) throughout the season.
The Bulldogs wrapped up the 2010-11 season with an overall record 18-16-5 and a fifth place league regular-season finish. The Bulldogs squared off against the Western Michigan Broncos during the CCHA Tournament Quarterfinal Round, but were edged out in overtime during game three.
