WCHA Regular-Season Champion Ferris State To Host Bemidji State In WCHA First Round

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's ice hockey team will begin its postseason stretch at home as the top seed for the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) Playoffs.

The Bulldogs, who claimed the MacNaughton Cup by winning the league's regular-season crown, will host eighth-seeded Bemidji State in a best-of-three first round series on March 14-16 at the Ewigleben Ice Arena. The opening two games are set for Friday and saturday at 7:07 p.m. (ET) with the deciding third game, if necessary, on Sunday at 5:07 p.m.

The winner of next weekend's first-round playoff series will advance to the WCHA Championship set for March 21-22 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids.
