Ferris State Athletics Announces Fan Package for NCAA Hockey Regional Tournament

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University Athletics Department has announced a fan package is available for those Bulldog fans wanting to follow FSU to the NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Midwest Regional Tournament this weekend in Cincinnati, Ohio.

A bus or busses will be made available to transport students and fans to Cincinnati. The bus will leave on Friday morning at 6 a.m. (ET) from the Ewigleben Sports Complex. If the Bulldogs win on Friday, the bus will return on Sunday morning. If the Bulldogs lose on Friday, it will return on Saturday morning.

The package will include a $40 all-session ticket for all three games of the regionall tournament. Lodging will be available at the Holiday Inn Express located nearby at 600 West Third Street in Covington, Ky.

The hotel cost for Friday night will be $98 plus tax and Saturday night hotel rooms will be $114 plus tax. All rooms are two double beds and room reservations can be made by calling (859) 291-4300. The rooms are reserved under a "Bulldog" block and are for fans riding the bus only.

Those fans interested in the fan package should contact the Ferris State Athletics Ticket Office located inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex or by calling (231) 591-2888. The deadline is Wednesday at 5 p.m.

The Bulldogs are seeded second in the four-team Midwest Regional and will square off against third-seeded Colgate on Friday (March 28) at 4:30 p.m. (ET) in Cincinnati's US Bank Arena.

The other matchup in the Midwest Regional will feature top-seeded Wisconsin versus fourth-seeded North Dakota at 8 p.m. (ET) with the winner of each game slated to square off in the regional final with a berth in the 2014 Frozen Four on the line Saturday (March 29) at 6:30 p.m.
