The level of success in athletic competition can be directly related to the importance of fundamentals and now is the opportunity for your softball team to get a jump on your competition by enrolling in the 2011 Ferris State University Softball Indoor Team Game Clinics.
The indoor team clinics will be conducted on February 13 and 20 inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex on the FSU campus in Big Rapids, Mich. Each clinic date is limited to six teams and will be held from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (EST).
Cost is $60 per player and a $250 deposit is required to hold your spot.
Instruction for the clinics will be by the Bulldog softball coaching staff and players.
"This is a unique opportunity for your junior varsity, varsity or travel softball team to learn and refine their softball skills during the winter months," said Ferris State Softball Head Coach Keri Becker, the all-time winningest coach in FSU Softball history. "We limit this clinic to only six teams so they get considerable and invaluable instruction here at Ferris. The teams are able to freely utilize the facilities all day long to work on their game.
"They have unlimited access to the batting cages to work on their swing and unlimited access to the Ferris State Softball players and coaching staff to help them with pitching, fielding or hitting," added Becker.
