Big Rapids, Mich. - Another change has been made to the Ferris State University softball schedule involving the Bulldogs' Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) series on Sunday (March 24).
Ferris State will wrap up its four-game weekend trip to Ohio by facing Malone on Sunday as originally scheduled at Pioneer Field in Canton, Ohio. The series will begin on the Pioneers' home field at 2 p.m. (ET) for game one with the nightcap to follow at approximately 4 p.m. (ET).
The series was originally slated to be played in Canton before being moved late yesterday to Ashland's Brookside Park due to field conditions. However, it was shifted back to Canton after it was felt AU's field could not withstand the added games on Sunday and work was completed on Malone's field to make it playable at the same time.
After the Bulldogs' trip to Ohio, Ferris State returns back to Big Rapids with its home opener set for next Friday (March 29), weather permitting, versus Lake Erie at the FSU Softball Field starting at 3:30 p.m. (ET).
