Ferris State Volleyball & Women's Tennis At Home In GLIAC Play This Week

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University fans can catch both the Bulldog women's volleyball and women's tennis teams in action as both will compete at home this week.

The volleyball team, which is coming off an appearance in the highly-competitive Peggy Martin Challenge hosted by Central Missouri last weekend, will return home to open Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) action at FSU's Ewigleben Sports Arena.

The Bulldogs, who are 5-3 overall to date this campaign, will face longtime GLIAC North Division rival Northwood in the league opener on Friday (Sept. 20) night starting at 7 p.m. (ET).  The Timberwolves also hold an identical 5-3 record this season.

After Friday's encounter against Northwood, the Bulldogs will host another divisional foe in Hillsdale on Saturday (Sept. 21) afternoon with match time set for 3 p.m. (ET) in Big Rapids.  The Chargers head into the weekend action with a 3-5 mark at this point in the year.

Tickets for 2013 Ferris State women's volleyball regular-season home matches are available at the door. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students (age 3 to 12th grade), FSU faculty/staff and senior citizens. Ferris State students with valid ID will be admitted free of charge.
