FSU Football Golf Outing Winners Announced

Big Rapids, Mich. - The 27th annual Ferris State University Football Golf Outing was held Saturday, June 5, at Meceola Golf Course near Big Rapids.

The four-person double shotgun golf scramble, which was sponsored by the FSU Gridiron Club, serves as one of the Ferris State football program’s primary fundraising events.

The winners in their respective groups are listed below:

1st Place (Men's Round): Marty Mohnke, Mike Mohnke, Mark Grinnell, Todd Packard

2nd Place (Men's Round): Larry Pacholka, Dave Sizemore, Rick Sack, Mike Marshall

1st Place (Coed Round): Bruce Faccio, Kathy Faccio, Vic Trecha, John Trecha

1st Place ("Players Cup" Round): Bill Scheible, Steve Duchon, John Baylis, Mark Sarver.

For the fourth consecutive year, the outing also included "The Players Cup" for former Bulldog players and coaches only. Each four-member team was comprised of current or former Ferris players and/or coaches only with the winner receiving the traveling trophy along with great prizes and bragging rights for a full year.
