Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's basketball team will next square off against the Missouri-St. Louis Tritons in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Semifinals on Sunday (March 12) in Indianapolis, Ind.
The sixth-seeded Bulldogs and second-seeded UMSL will tipoff at 5 p.m. (ET) in the regional semifinals at UIndy's Nicoson Hall with the winner advancing to Tuesday night's regional championship game.
Ferris State advanced to the semifinals with a first-round 71-70 triumph over third-seeded Ashland on Saturday while the Tritons defeated seventh-seeded Parkside 85-60 to move into the second round of the national tournament. The matchup between the Bulldogs and the Tritons, who are a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), will represent the first-ever NCAA Tourney matchup between the two squads.
Local radio station Sunny 97.3 FM, in conjunction with the Bulldog Sports Network, will broadcast Sunday afternoon's action live from Nicoson Hall. Rob Bentley and Sandy Gholston will provide the play-by-play coverage for the contest with pregame coverage starting one-half hour prior to game time at 4:30 p.m. (ET).
In addition to Sunny 97.3's live broadcast, the live audio feed will also be streamed online by the Bulldog Sports Network at FerrisStateBulldogs.com with video coverage provided by UIndy on the Great Lakes Valley Conference Sports Network.

The single-elimination national tournament field includes eight regions of eight teams apiece. The Midwest Regional champion will advance to the 2023 NCAA Division II Elite Eight set for March 21-25 in Evansville, Ind.
Ferris State, which is making its 16th all-time NCAA Division II Tournament appearance, is competing in the regional semifinals for the second-straight year and the fifth time since 2016. FSU is currently 24-8 overall this season while UMSL owns a 24-10 mark entering the regional semifinal tilt.
