Big Rapids, Mich. – Ferris State University hockey senior forwards Caden Brown and John Lundy have signed professional contracts in the ECHL.

Brown is currently with the Greensboro Gargoyles after initially signing with the Fort Wayne Komets. He made his professional debut March 27 with the Komets before moving to the Gargoyles. Lundy inked his deal with the Iowa Heartlanders and recorded an assist in his professional debut April 4.

He appeared in 31 games for the Bulldogs and tied for the team lead in game-winning goals (two) that included FSU's overtime game-winning tally against Minnesota State in Game 2 of the Mason Cup Quarterfinals. He also scored a power-play goal and recorded two multi-point games throughout the year.

Lundy (Brooklyn, N.Y.) joined the Bulldogs for his senior season after three years with American International College. He finished his final collegiate campaign with 11 points on five goals and six assists. Lundy tallied two power play goals with the Bulldogs, concluding his career with 16 power play goals. The Bulldogs have now had eight players sign ECHL contracts. Brown and Lundy join Max Dukovac and Xavier Jean-Louis (Worcester Railers), Gavin Best (Wichita Thunder), Tyler Schleppe (Kansas City Mavericks), Josh Zary (Greenville Swamp Rabbits) and Valtteri Piironen (Norfolk Admirals) as Bulldogs who have signed with ECHL squads.
