Gehrig Sarosy rejoins head coach Brett Riley as a member of Ferris State Hockey’s coaching staff after serving four seasons under Riley at Long Island University.

Sarosy served as the Sharks’ video coach and director of hockey operations and now follows Riley to Ferris State as an assistant coach.

While with Riley at LIU, Sarosy also aided with pregame and post-game preparations as well as travel planning.

Prior to joining the Sharks, he held the video coach position for men's ice hockey at Ohio University from 2019-21. He is also an Ohio University graduate.

Sarosy assumed his duties at Ferris State in May 2025.
