2017 Team Impact - Ferris State Softball Draft Day event

Keelie and Kira Heirlein recently became official members of the Ferris State University Softball program thru the Team IMPACT program, which pairs children with life-threatening and chronic illinesses with college athletic teams. The Bulldogs held a special "Draft Day" following a team practice late this spring at the FSU Softball Field. FSU coach Adam Kirkpatrick signed the two young players, who have cystic fibrosis (CF), to the roster with assistance from volunteer assistant coach Tara Nelson and their parents.
