Ferris State STUNT Closes Out First-Ever Appearance In GLVC Championship
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University STUNT team concluded its first-ever appearance in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Championship come to a finish on Friday (April 3) evening in Springfield, Mo.
The Bulldogs opened the league championship as the #5 seed and dropped a 27-16 decision to #4 seed Drury (Mo.) in the opening round.
Ferris State came back in round two and stayed alive with a 11-0 shutout over eighth-seeded Southwest Baptist (Mo.) before falling in game 10 to Drury once again by a 27-19 score late Friday night.
The event took place at the O'Reilly Family Event Center and featured double-elimination action.
The Bulldogs, who are now 10-8 overall this year, will continue their inaugural campaign back on home with their second home competition of the season April 12 in Big Rapids.
