Big Rapids, Mich. - The nationally 15th-ranked Ferris State University women's basketball squad went on the road Sunday (Nov. 10) and earned an 81-77 victory over longtime Midwest Regional power Drury (Mo.) at the O'Reilly Family Event Center in Springfield.

FSU junior forward Mya Hiram recorded 18 points and seven rebounds in the win while junior guard Elle Irwin totaled 15 points.

The Bulldogs shot 43.6% from the floor and made seven-of-21 (33.3%) three's to go with a 26-of-37 (70.3%) showing at the free throw stripe. Defensively, the Bulldogs forced 20 turnovers and also came up with a 34-28 rebounding edge in addition to 10 steals in the win.

For Drury, Josie Storey totaled a team-high 16 points off the bench while Anna Hitt tallied 14 points. Rhi Gibbons added 12 points for the Panthers and Jazz Gray scored 10 points.

The Panthers shot 47.5% from the floor and were eight-of-17 (47.1%) from behind the three-point arc along with 13-of-23 (56.5%) at the free throw stripe.

Ferris State will return home to host Great Lakes Christian in the squad's home opener on Saturday, Nov. 16, starting at 7 p.m. (ET) inside Jim Wink Arena.
