FSU Women's Golf Sits Third After Round One At Folds Of Honor Challenge
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's golf team got off to a strong start and currently sits third overall after round one on Sunday (Sept. 15) of the Folds of Honor Challenge being held at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale.
The Bulldogs shot a first-round 311 total in round one of the event hosted by Grand Valley State and are only eight strokes out of first place overall. GVSU carded a 303 while Findlay ended up with a 306 figure in the first round.
Individually, the Bulldogs' Kamryn Shannon fired a 75 and is fourth on the leaderboard while Hallie Crozier shot a 77 and is eighth overall.
FSU's Kylie Walker notched a 79 and is tied for 14th in the field with Ashley Thomasma listed tied for 17th following a first-round 80 total along with the Bulldogs' Lizzie Anderson, who also carded an 80 in round one.
Ferris State's Taylor Musselman recorded an 82 and is 25th on the list.
Tee times for round two of the three-round event begin on Monday at 9:30 a.m. (ET).
