Bulldog Women's Golf Places Third At Folds Of Honor Challenge
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's golf team wrapped up the Folds of Honor Challenge with a third-place overall finish on Tuesday (Sept. 17) at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale.
The Bulldogs carded a 296 figure in the final round to finish at 913 overall for the 54 holes of action. FSU had shot a 311 on day one and a 306 in the second round.
Findlay won the team event with a 893 total followed by Grand Valley State (895) in front of FSU.
Individually, Kamryn Shannon led FSU by placing third overall at +7 for the tournament, which included a final-round 72 for a 220 total.
FSU's Hallie Crozier tied for 10th in the field with a 229 after carding a 73 in the last round while Lizzie Anderson placed 13th at 230. She also shot a 73 on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs' Taylor Musselman would up tied for 23rd at 242 for the 54 holes following a last-round 83 score.
Meanwhile, Kylie Walker carded a 78 in the last round and had a 157 total for two rounds, which was good for 34th in the field.
Ferris State's Ashley Thomasma competed as an individual and took 26th place with a 247 figure, shooting an 83 in round three.
The Bulldogs will next take part in the Beall Fall Classic hosted by the University of Findlay on Sept. 30-Oct. 1 in Ohio.
