Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's soccer program has unveiled its 2026 schedule with the Bulldogs slated to face yet another challenging slate this coming fall.

Head Coach Greg Henson's squad will hit the pitch for a total of 18 regular-season contests to go with three preseason tilts. Ten of the Bulldogs' 18 outings will be at home at the Bulldog Soccer Field.

Ferris State will take the field for the first time with a scrimmage on Aug. 15 versus Delta College followed by an Aug. 20 matchup with Northwood and a final preseason affair on Aug. 22 against Calvin. All three preseason outings will be at home.

FSU will open regular-season competition with a trip to Minnesota in late August to face Southwest Minnesota State on Aug. 27 and Concordia-St. Paul on Aug. 29.

The Bulldogs will play their first regular-season home contests over Labor Day weekend with regional matchups against Findlay on Friday, Sept. 4, and versus Walsh on Sunday, Sept. 6.

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) race begins for FSU on Sept. 11 when the Bulldogs entertain first-year program Wayne State in Big Rapids. That will be followed by a road test at longtime rival Grand Valley State on Sept. 18 in Allendale before the 'Dawgs come back home to host Purdue Northwest on Sept. 20.

Ferris State will close out the opening month of the season with a road matchup at Davenport on Sept. 25 followed by a home tilt against Michigan Tech on Sept. 27. The matchup with the Huskies will serve as the Bulldogs' annual Senior Day and Parents Weekend contest and will take place on homecoming weekend on the FSU campus.

The Bulldogs open the month of October with a lengthy homestand, hosting Roosevelt on Oct. 2 and Parkside on Oct. 4 before taking on Davenport on Oct. 9 and Saginaw Valley State on Oct. 16.

Ferris State continues the second round of GLIAC play with three-straight road contests featuring trips to Purdue Northwest (Oct. 18), Michigan Tech (Oct. 23) and Northern Michigan (Oct. 25). The Bulldogs then host Grand Valley State in Big Rapids on Oct. 29 for the final home contest of the regular-season before visiting Wayne State for the first time to close out the year on Oct. 31 in Detroit.

The GLIAC Tournament will begin with quarterfinal-round play on campus sites on Nov. 3 with the semifinals and finals slated to take place at the highest remaining seed on Nov. 6 and Nov. 8, respectively. The NCAA Tournament begins with first and second-round regional play Nov. 12-15.

All home regular-season outings this year are again slated to begin at 1 p.m. (ET). A complete schedule can be found at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

The Bulldogs closed the 2025 season with an 8-5-6 overall record. Overall, the Bulldogs also made their 18th conference tournament in program history.

Since Henson's arrival, the Bulldogs have claimed the program's first Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) regular-season title, first league tournament championship, made two NCAA Tournament appearances and advanced to the national semifinals for the first time in school history.
