Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's tennis team concluded action in the 2017 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC)/Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Crossover on Sunday (March 19) with a 9-0 setback to the Lewis (Ill.) The Bulldogs wrapped up action in the inaugural regional event with the decision against the Flyers as FSU dropped to 9-9 overall this season.

Lewis claimed all three doubles flights to grab the early advantage and then finished the sweep by taking all six singles flights in straight-sets against the Bulldogs, who were playing their third match in as many days.

The Flyers improved to 9-4 overall with the late afternoon victory over the Bulldogs.

Ferris State will next play its final regular-season scheduled match of the spring on March 30 when FSU visits Davenport for a 6 p.m. (ET) evening tilt in Grand Rapids, Mich.
