Was an all-state honorable mention honoree for Midland Dow High School . . . Claimed Midland Daily News MVP recognition after helping the Chargers to a league runner-up crown . . . Totaled 527 kills with 465 digs and 97 total blocks as Midland Dow posted a 47-7-6 overall record in 2011 . . . Had 301 kills and 128 digs as a junior in 2010 while helping the Chargers to a 36-11-8 mark under head coach Kristin Eddy . . . A two-time first team all-conference honoree, she was also twice chosen as an all-region selection and twice claimed team Most Valuable Player Award honors . . . Served as a team co-captain in 2011 and was an all-academic team pick . . . As a two-year prep standout, she helped Dow High School to nine first or second place team finishes in tournament play, including a district championship in 2010 . . . Besides her prep volleyball career, she also played club volleyball for the Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy . . . Additionally, she also competed in basketball . . . A National Honor Society member, she was involved in DECA, Volley 4 A Cure and the student senate . . . Daughter of Keith and Gretchen Pretty.
