WBBL To Broadcast Live From FSU This Friday!
Students & Fans Invited To Attend Live
Broadcast!
Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University students, alumni and
fans will have a special opportunity to be part of a live radio
show originating from the FSU campus this Friday (Oct. 22)
morning.
The Bakita & Grey morning show, which can be heard on West
Michigan's Sports Leader 107.3 WBBL in the Grand Rapids market,
will broadcast live from The Rock Cafe on the Big Rapids campus
from 6-9 a.m. (ET).
Students, fans and the general public are encouraged to come out
for the live show with The Rock opening for its normal breakfast
schedule beginning at 7 a.m. (ET). The show will be making its
first-ever appearance on the FSU campus.
A number of special guests will be interviewed during the show
including Ferris State University President Dr. David L.
Eisler, FSU Director of Alumni Relations Jeremy
Mishler, head football coach Jeff Pierce
and Bulldog hockey head coach Bob Daniels among
others.
Friday's show will preview Saturday's Anchor-Bone Classic gridiron
showdown between Ferris State and nationally top-ranked Grand
Valley State at Top Taggart Field. It will also include a
preview of FSU's home hockey series this weekend versus the Ohio
State Buckeyes and highlight other important things going on at
Ferris State University.
The Bakita & Grey show airs weekly Monday thru Friday on WBBL
and can also be heard live online at www.wbbl.com. It is hosted by Bret Bakita
and Michael Grey.
In addition to Friday morning's live show, FSU will also be
featured prominetly throughout the week on WBBL's FM airwaves with
live promotional announcments leading up to this weekend's action
and various ticket giveaways.
Those tuning into the Bakita & Grey Show could also win The
Ultimate Bulldog Weekend prize package, which includes suite
tickets to watch FSU Hockey versus Ohio State on Friday night, golf
on Saturday morning at Tullymore, sideline tickets to the
Anchor-Bone Classic and logding for Friday night in Big Rapids.
The Rock Cafe is located at 1420 Knollview Drive on the Ferris
State campus. It is approximately one block south of Top
Taggart Field across from the football practice fields. The
renovated student dining area opened a year ago and offers the next
generation of student dining with a popular marketplace
concept.

collegiate and professional sports across the state with featured
shows such as Bakita & Grey, the Huge Show, Jim Rome, Dan
Patrick and others in addition to live game coverage.

Friday morning's live broadcast from The Rock Cafe, WBBL will also
provide fans a chance to win free stuff at two other Big Rapids
appearances this weekend leading up to Saturday's Anchor-Bone
Classic. Host Michael Grey will be live at the Buffalo Wild
Wings location in Big Rapids on Friday night from 7-9 p.m. and
appear at Crankers Restaurant in Big Rapids on Saturday morning
from 7-9 a.m.
