Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University football team put its finishing touches on fall preseson camp on Friday (Aug. 24) as the Bulldogs held their annual media and photo day activities at Top Taggart Field.

A variety of individual and group photos were taken at the stadium, including the official 2012 team photo.  Additionally, several FSU players took part in media interviews, including a live show from the Wheeler Pavilion broadcast booth on the flagship home of the Bulldog Sports Network, Sunny 97.3 FM.

After the media day activites, team members also spent the afternoon assisting incoming students and their families move into campus residence halls as part of the "Bulldogs In Action" initiative.  They were joined by other Ferris State varsity athletics programs, including the Bulldog women's soccer along with men's and women's basketball teams.

Friday's activites brought preseason camp to a close as FSU will officially begin game week preparations on Saturday.  The Bulldogs officially begin their 104th season of varsity competition and the first campaign under new head coach Tony Annese on the road with a non-league game on Thursday, Aug. 30, at the University of St. Francis (Ill.) in Joliet, Ill.

Ferris State's home opener is scheduled for Sept. 15 when the Ashland Eagles make the trip to Big Rapids to square off against the Bulldogs. Kickoff for the initial home game is slated for 7 p.m. (ET) under the lights.
