WBBL's "Bakita & Bentley" To Broadcast Live From FSU This Friday Morning

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University students, alumni and fans will have a special opportunity to be part of a live radio show originating from the FSU campus this Friday (Oct. 12) morning.

The Bakita & Bentley morning show, which can be heard on West Michigan's Sports Leader 107.3 WBBLFM in the Grand Rapids market, will broadcast live from The Rock Cafe on the Big Rapids campus from 6-9 a.m. (ET).

Students, fans and the general public are encouraged to come out for the live show with The Rock opening for its normal breakfast schedule beginning at 7 a.m. (ET). The show will be making its second appearance on the FSU campus following an initial visit two years ago.

A number of special guests will be interviewed during the show including Ferris State University Athletics Director Perk Weisenburger, FSU Director of Alumni Relations Jeremy Mishler, head football coach Tony Annese and others.

Friday's show will preview Saturday's "homecoming" football showdown between Ferris State and defending conference champion Hillsdale at Top Taggart Field.  It will also highlight other important things going on at Ferris State University, including the Bulldogs' dominating 40-24 victory over rival Grand Valley State in the Anchor-Bone Classic this past Saturday (Oct. 6) in Allendale.

The Bakita & Bentley show airs weekly Monday thru Friday on WBBL and can also be heard live online at www.wbbl.com.  It is hosted by longtime West Michigan sports personality Bret Bakita and former National Football League (NFL) player Ray Bentley.

In addition to the live radio show, FSU Athletics has partnered with WBBL throughout the fall for a "Ferris Friday's" segment that airs each Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. (ET).
The Rock Cafe is located at 1420 Knollview Drive on the Ferris State campus.  It is approximately one block south of Top Taggart Field across from the football practice fields.  The renovated student dining area offers the next generation of student dining with a popular marketplace concept.

WBBL is owned and operated by Cumulus Media and Mediaspan.  The station regularly covers high school, collegiate and professional sports across the state with featured shows such as Bakita & Bentley, the Huge Show, Jim Rome, Dan Patrick and others in addition to live game coverage.
