Game Time & Ticket Info Announced For Ferris State Football NCAA Second Round Playoff Game

Big Rapids, Mich. - The official starting time has been announced and tickets will go on sale Monday morning for Ferris State University's second-round NCAA Division II Football Playoff game set for this Saturday, Nov. 26, at Top Taggart Field.

The second-seeded Bulldogs will host sixth-seeded Colorado Mines in round two on Saturday with the official kickoff time set for 12 p.m. (ET). Tickets go on sale Monday at 9 a.m.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets for the playoff contest in advance. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $7 for senior citizens (age 65+) along with $5 for students in grades K-12. In addition, FSU students and college students from competing schools with a valid ID card are also $5. Children ages five and under are free.

FREE football playoff tickets for the Bulldogs' second round game will be available for pickup to the first 500 FSU students with a valid ID card at the FSU Athletics Ticket Office located inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex. The free student tickets are first come-first served and available whiles supplies last.  All tickets must be picked up in person, no phone orders will be allowed and a maximum of four tickets per student with four valid ID's will be distributed.

Per NCAA policy, no comp passes or regular-season passes of any type will be accepted.

Fans can purchase playoff tickets online 24 hours a day, seven days a week at www.StarTickets.com or call (800) 585-3737. Tickets may also be purchased in person thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office located inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex.

This week, the ticket office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) on both Monday and Tuesday along with extended hours on Wednesday until 7 p.m. They will be closed on Thursday due to the Thanksgiving holiday, but back open on Friday from 12-5 p.m. (ET).

In addition, the gameday ticket office inside the Wheeler Pavilion at Top Taggart Field will open on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. (ET) for ticket sales.

Ferris State opened the NCAA Division II Playoffs with a dominating 65-34 win over Midwestern State (Texas) in round one this past Saturday and the Bulldogs have won six-straight games overall this season. FSU owns a 10-2 overall record and will take on a Colorado Mines squad that is also 10-2 overall and coming off an impressive 63-35 first-round road win at third-seeded Southwest Baptist (Mo.).

The Bulldogs are currently midst their third consecutive NCAA Division II Playoff appearance and are one of 16 teams remaining from across the four super regions.

FSU's berth in the NCAA Division II Playoffs represents the eighth appearance in school history with the first five berths prior to the last three years all coming during a memorable five-year stretch from 1992-96. The Bulldogs posted the highest finish in school history by reaching the national semifinals in 1995.
