Big Rapids, Mich. -
The Ferris State men's and women's basketball teams will be back in action on Monday night (Dec. 17) with a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) road doubleheader against the Hillsdale Chargers.

The action gets underway with the men's contest at 6 p.m. (ET) inside HC's Jesse Philips Arena.  The women's contest will follow at 8 p.m. (ET).

Fans can listen to the live broadcast of both games on flagship station Sunny 97.3 FM and on the Bulldog Sports Network online at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.  Rob Bentley will call all the play-by-play action from Hillsdale starting with the Meijer Pregame Show at 5:30 p.m. (ET).

In addition to the live FSU radio broadcast, Hillsdale will also provide a live video pay-per-view webcast in addition to live internet statistics.  Fans can also follow scoring updates on either Twitter or Facebook using the links above or at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

The Ferris State men's basketball squad enters the outing owning a 4-4 overall record and a 3-2 GLIAC slate.  The Bulldogs suffered a heartbreaking 82-81 overtime setback against nationally 24th-ranked Findlay on Saturday (Dec. 15) afternoon at UF's Croy Gymnasium as they nearly broke the Oilers' 78-game conference regular-season homecourt winning streak dating back to 2004.

Meanwhile, the Hillsdale men's team is presently 6-2 overall and also at 3-2 in league action.  The Chargers fell at home to Grand Valley State on Saturday night by a 67-58 count.  Monday night's game marks the final league action for either team until the New Year.

On the women's side, Ferris State has currently won three-straight games and four of its last five overall following a 68-66 win at Findlay on Saturday.  FSU is 5-3 on the year and 4-1 in conference play.

The Chargers' women's squad is 4-4 overall to date and 1-4 in league competition after a 84-53 home loss to GVSU on Saturday night.

Monday night's contest marks the final game of the 2012 calendar year for the Bulldog women's basketball squad as their next outing will not be until Thursday, Jan. 3, when FSU hosts Malone in GLIAC play at Wink Arena.

The Bulldog men's squad will travel on to Indianapolis following Monday's game where they will face the nationally 14th-ranked and unbeaten Indianapolis Greyhounds in a non-league regional showdown on Wednesday (Dec. 19) evening at 7 p.m. (ET).
