Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's basketball teams remain at home for Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) competition this week inside FSU's Jim Wink Arena as the Bulldogs wrap up a four-game conference homestand.
The Bulldogs will begin GLIAC North Division play against Michigan Tech in a league doubleheader on Thursday, Jan. 10, with the men's game set to tipoff first at 6 p.m. (ET) followed by the women's contest at 8 p.m. (ET).
Then, on Saturday, Jan. 12, FSU hosts Northern Michigan for a conference twinbill with the men's contest slated for a 1 p.m. (ET) start and the women's game beginning at 3 p.m. (ET).
Bulldog fans attending Thursday's league doubleheader can receive two adult tickets for the price of one by purchasing in advance prior to gameday thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office.
On Saturday, all youth in grades K-12 will be admitted free with a paid adult as part of the "Kids Day" promotion for the afternoon action against Northern Michigan. Saturday's twinbill will be part of a tripleheader inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex as the Bulldog Hockey team hosts the Ohio State Buckeyes at 7:05 p.m. (ET).
This season, one lucky Bulldog fan will have a chance to win $10,000 at every conference home game as part of the Lake Osceola State Bank $10,000 Shootout. One contestant will be picked at random for a chance to make a layup, free throw, three-pointer and half-court shot in 25 seconds.

Adult general admission tickets are $7 or the cost is $5 for FSU faculty/staff, seniors ages 65 and up or students age 3 thru 12th grade. FSU students are admitted free with a valid student ID card.
Both the Bulldog men's and women's basketball squads are the defending GLIAC North Division Champions.
The FSU women's basketball team (8-3, 7-1 GLIAC) moved into sole possession of first place in the GLIAC North Division standings with back-to-back home wins over Malone and Walsh this past weekend. FSU has won seven of its last eight games to date, including six in a row, entering Thursday's showdown with the second place Huskies of Michigan Tech (8-4, 6-2 GLIAC). Meanwhile, Northern Michigan is 8-4 overall and 5-3 in league play.
On the men's side, the Bulldogs are coming off key league home wins over both Malone and Walsh this past weekend. FSU is 6-6 on the year and 5-3 in the GLIAC North while preseason divisional favorite Michigan Tech comes in with a 10-2 overall record and a 7-1 league mark. NMU is 4-8 overall and 3-5 in the GLIAC heading into their road contest at Grand Valley State on Thursday.
Both doubleheaders will be broadcast locally by Sunny 97.3 FM and the Bulldog Sports Network starting with the Meijer Pregame Show a half-hour prior to tipoff of the men's game.
