Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State men's basketball team ventures to Michigan's Upper Peninsula this week to face Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play.  FSU squares off with Michigan Tech on Thursday, Feb. 7, in Houghton starting at 5:30 p.m. (ET).  On Saturday, Feb. 9, the Bulldogs take on Northern Michigan in Marquette beginning at 11 a.m. (ET).

Both games will be broadcast locally by Sunny 97.3 FM and the Bulldog Sports Network starting with the Meijer Pregame Show a half-hour prior to tipoff. A live audio broadcast will be accessible online in addition to live internet statistics and a live pay-per-view video webcast offered by the opposing schools.  For a full listing of links, please visit FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

Ferris State is 11-8 overall and 10-5 in the GLIAC heading into the trip.  The Bulldogs have won seven of their last nine games overall this season to date.

Michigan Tech (13-6, 10-5 GLIAC) was the preseason favorite in the GLIAC North Division and is presently tied with FSU for third place in the divisional standings.  MTU has won three of its last four games overall, but is coming off a 59-55 road loss at rival Northern Michigan on Saturday (Feb. 2).

Northern Michigan (5-14, 4-11 GLIAC) heads into Thursday's home game versus Grand Valley State coming off a 59-55 league home win over Michigan Tech on Saturday.

This week's games start round two of GLIAC North Division play.  FSU topped both MTU and NMU earlier this season at home inside Wink Arena.  The Bulldogs were a 74-66 winner over Michigan Tech (Jan. 10) and posted a 51-41 triumph over Northern Michigan (Jan. 12).

Saturday's game at Northern Michigan will be part of a road tripleheader for Ferris State Athletics inside the Berry Events Center.  The women's team takes on NMU after the men's game at 1 p.m. (ET) before the facility is changed over for hockey.  The Ferris State men's ice hockey team will also face the Wildcats in a two-game set this weekend in Marquette beginning at 7:35 p.m. (ET) both Friday and Saturday nights.
