Nationally-Ranked Ferris State Hockey To Make Four Television Appearances In January

The nationally-ranked 2010-11 Ferris State University men's ice hockey team is quickly emerging as one of the nation's up-and-coming programs and those associated with collegiate hockey nationally are in agreement.

Enough so that 18th-ranked Ferris State will be appearing on national and/or regional television four times during this upcoming January 2011.

FSU Hockey fans certainly won't have to wait long to watch as the Bulldogs will ring in the 2011 New Year on Saturday, Jan. 1, versus the nationally-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers in a Mariucci Classic game which will be televised live on Fox Sports Detroit, courtesy of Fox Sports North.  Opening faceoff for the non-league matchup is slated for 7:07 p.m. (CST) from UM's Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis, Minn.
