Big Rapids, Mich. - Tickets for the nationally top-ranked Ferris State University men's ice hockey team's Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) Second-Round Home Playoff series will go on sale starting Thursday (Feb. 23) morning at 9 a.m. (ET).
The Bulldogs have earned a first-round playoff bye and will host a best-of-three second round series March 9-11 at the Ewigleben Ice Arena in Big Rapids against an opponent to be determined. All three games of the second round series are tentatively scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
Ferris State's 2012 CCHA Playoff single-game ticket prices are as follows:
$13 General Public
$12 Adult Season Ticket Holders and Sponsors
$11 Senior Citizens, FSU Faculty/Staff
$6 FSU Students with ID,
$6 Dawg Pound Alumni
$6 Students K-12 (first 200 receive premium giveaways)
Bulldog Hockey season tickets holders will have their tickets held, but that they must be paid for by 5 p.m. on March 2. All Dawg Pound section tickets are general admission seating.
Premium giveaways will be offered to the first 200 students in grades K-12 as part of the "Dawg Pound Package".
All ticket prices and availability are subject to change and available as supplies last. Limited quantities exist for some ticket prices.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting the FSU Athletics Ticket Office at (231) 591-2888 or by visiting the box office during normal business hours.
The FSU Athletics Ticket Office's hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) weekdays. The ticket office will also offer extended hours until 7 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday's and Thursday's throughout the season and open on home game Saturday's at 12 p.m. (ET).
Single-game tickets for hockey may also be purchased by contacting Star Tickets at 1-800-585-3737 or online via the Star Tickets website at www.startickets.com. Handling fees may apply for tickets purchased thru Star Tickets.
Tickets are also available at all Meijer store locations in West Michigan and at the Student Services Office in the FSU Rankin Student Center.

The top-ranked Bulldogs have clinched at least a share of the CCHA Regular-Season Championship and need to gain only a single point on second place Michigan during the final week of regular-season play this weekend to win the league's outright crown for only the second time in school history.
FSU presently holds the nation's longest unbeaten streak at 14 games and has not lost in the New Year.
