Former Bulldog Pat Nagle Claims ECHL Honor
PRINCETON, N.J. – Former Ferris State University All-American Pat Nagle of the Florida Everblades is the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Feb. 13-19.
The 24-year-old was 3-0-0 with a goals-against average of 1.63 and a save percentage of .944 last week in three appearances last week.
Nagle made 19 saves in a 4-3 overtime win against South Carolina on Wednesday, turned aside 34 shots in a 4-1 win over the Stingrays on Friday and ended the week with 32 saves in a 5-3 victory over the Stingrays on Saturday.
A native of Bloomfield, Mich., Nagle has appeared in 34 games with the Everblades this season posting a record of 17-12-3 with one shutouts, a 2.86 goals-against average and a save percentage of .904.
A rookie under contract to Tampa Bay of the National Hockey League, Nagle played four seasons at Ferris State where he compiling an overall record of 45-42-11 with five shutouts, a 2.32 goals-against average and a save percentage of .917.
