Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University Athletics Ticket Office has announced that only general reserved tickets remain for this weekend's Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) showdown between the Ferris State Bulldogs and the nationally sixth-ranked Western Michigan Broncos.
The two national powers will battle in Big Rapids on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 1-2) nights with opening faceoff slated for 7:05 p.m. (ET) inside the Ewigleben Ice Arena. The Broncos enter the weekend series in first place in the league standings and FSU is fourth, but only five points separates the top four teams in the conference.
Ferris State has currently sold out of all remaining "Dawg Pound", group sales and the special two for $25 tickets. General reserved tickets for the premium contest, which are $17 in advance or $19 on gameday, remain available with fans encouraged to purchased tickets immediately to guarantee a seat for the weekend action as potential sellout crowds are expected.
The Bulldogs have presently sold out nine of their last 16 home games dating back to last season, including three of the past five outings at the Ewigleben Ice Arena this campaign. This weekend's series represents the final CCHA regular-season series against the rival Broncos.
