Ferris State Softball Games Cancelled Due To Rain

The Ferris State University softball games scheduled for this Thursday (March 11) at the Florida Rebel Spring Games Tournament in Kissimmee, Fla., have been cancelled due to rain and wet field conditions.

The Bulldogs' scheduled contests versus Slippery Rock (Pa. ) and Minnesota Duluth won't be made up.

Ferris State, which presently has a 9-5 overall record this season and is riding a current seven-game winning streak, returns to the diamond this Friday (March 12) afternoon for a pair of non-conference encounters.  The Bulldogs, under 13th-year head coach Keri Becker, will go up against St. Cloud State at 1 p.m. (EST) and then face Southern Indiana in a 3 p.m. (EST) contest at the Osceola County Softball Complex.
