Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's indoor track and field teams will take part in the 2012 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 24-25) in Findlay, Ohio.
The annual league meet will be hosted by the University of Findlay at the Malcolm Athletic Center on campus.
Events start on Friday at 3:30 p.m. (ET) and run throughout the evening. Final day action on Saturday is slated to begin with the field events at 11 a.m. (ET) and run until approximately 4:30 p.m. (ET).
The Bulldog women's indoor squad jumped up one spot this week to 22nd nationally in the United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II National Team Computer Rankings.
FSU's women's squad is one of seven GLIAC schools found among the nation's top 25 programs and the Bulldogs rank eighth in the Midwest Region.
