Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's volleyball team jumped back into the national rankings this week and will host archrival Grand Valley State on Tuesday night (Oct. 30) at the Ewigleben Sports Arena.
Match time between the two West Michigan powers is set for 7 p.m. (ET) in Big Rapids.
Tickets for the match will be sold at the door beginning one hour prior to match time. Adult tickets are $5 for home contests while senior citizens (65+), FSU faculty/staff and students in grades K-12 are $3 each. Ferris State students are admitted free by showing their student ID cards.
The 25th-ranked Bulldogs enter the league showdown with a 19-5 overall mark to date this season and have won 13 of their last 15 outings to date. FSU trails league leader Northwood by a single match in the GLIAC standings with a 12-1 conference mark.
Meanwhile, the Lakers are also 19-5 overall and own a 9-4 record in league play.
Earlier this year (Sept. 25), the Bulldogs recorded an exciting 3-2 win over Grand Valley State inside the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale. Overall, FSU trails GVSU 58-43 in the all-time series to date, but the Bulldogs have won the past three matchups.
This past weekend (Oct. 26-27), the Bulldogs posted back-to-back league home wins over Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan by scores of 3-0 and 3-1, respectively.
